Reading and writing are fun! Books can take us to fabulous places.                                                                  

       Here is a sample of some of our student work. Our 5th graders designed a self portrait and then wrote a short paragraph about what they would like to be when they grow up.

          All work was done on a Macintosh Power PC or Gateway Pentium-class computer.

     My name is Daniela. When I grow up I want to be an architect. I like this career because architects  help people. This career is important because architects design houses for for people to live in. Some day, I might be good enough to be honored at a luncheon or a dinner.

 

                          

    

      My name is Annie.  When I grow up, I would like to be a horse trainer. I think I will be able to make a good living helping  people train their horses.

   

     My name is Jorge. When I grow up I want to be a police officer. A police officer  takes care of  a town or a city. This career is important because police officers help people. If you want to be a police officer you have to go to college for two years.
